At the beating heart of Valhalla is its all-new PHEV powertrain, which features three motors; foremost of these is a rear-mid-mounted 4.0 litre twin-turbo bespoke V8 engine. The most advanced, responsive and highest performing V8 engine ever fitted to an Aston Martin, revving to 7200rpm and developing 750PS.
Supplementing this new V8 engine is a 150kW/400V battery hybrid system, contributing a further 204PS. When driven in EV mode battery power is directed exclusively to the front axle; in other driving modes battery power is split between front and rear axles. In certain situations, 100% of battery power can be sent to the rear axle, supplementing with the full force of the ICE V8 for maximum performance.
Running in EV-only mode, Valhalla will be capable of a maximum 80 mph / 130km/h and has a zero-emission range of 15km. Predicted CO2 (WLTP) is less than 200g/km. Unleashing all 950PS the Valhalla will reach a top speed of 217mph / 350km/h and will complete the sprint from 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds.

Engine
Under the hood, every Aston Martin Valhalla model will come equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, which on its own delivers exhilarating horsepower output. The engine itself feeds the rear-wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. However, the engine gets paired with an electric motor on the front wheels, and another electric motor integrated into that transmission. All combined, the Aston Martin Valhalla has a total output of 937-horsepower, providing you with the utmost athleticism and excitement during any outing around Dallas-Fort Worth.
Driving Modes
There's multiple drive modes that you can choose from depending on how you want your vehicle to drive. You can choose to use 100% EV power on Valhalla models by switching it into EV mode, with power directly only to the front wheels, letting you skip the gas pump when you're driving around DFW Metroplex. When in EV mode, you'll have a max speed of 80 mpg, while other driving modes allow you to reach speeds of up to 217 mph, with a 0-62 mph time of just 2.5 seconds, allowing you to enjoy the sportiest experience possible when you're behind the wheel.
Other Electric Vehicle Features
The Valhalla models will also use an electrically assisted gearbox and have an electric reverse, helping you maintain greater fuel economy and smoothness behind the wheel. All models also have an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential to maintain optimal control even when your wheels lose grip.
